Data Controllers
The data controller under current legislation is the website administrator, Valerio Colantoni, who can be contacted via the "Write Me" section (link at the top right of the page).
Legal Basis for Processing
Data is primarily processed based on user consent. Consent is given via the banner at the bottom of the page or through communication or service request forms, where consent is collected for specific service-related purposes. Providing data and, consequently, consenting to data collection and processing is optional. The user may deny consent and can withdraw previously granted consent at any time (via the banner at the bottom of the page, browser settings for cookies, or the Contact link). However, refusing consent may make it impossible to provide certain services and may limit the browsing experience on the site.
Data collected for site security and to prevent abuse and spam, as well as data collected for website traffic analysis (statistics) in aggregate form, is processed based on the legitimate interest of the data controller to protect the site and its users. In such cases, users always have the right to object to data processing (see the section on User Rights).
Data provided for consultations or professional assignments is processed for the performance of a contract and to comply with legal obligations. In such cases, a specific privacy notice will be provided.
Purpose of Data Processing
Data collected by the website is processed for the following purposes, in addition to purposes strictly related to the requested services:
Statistics (Analysis): Data is collected in aggregated and anonymous form to verify the website’s functionality. None of this information is linked to a specific user and does not allow user identification. Consent is not required.
Security: Data is collected to protect the website and its users (spam filters, firewalls, virus detection) and to prevent or detect fraud or abuse against the website. This data is recorded automatically and may include personal data (e.g., IP address) used, in accordance with applicable laws, to block attempts to damage the website or other users or for any harmful or criminal activity. This data is never used for user identification or profiling and is periodically deleted. Consent is not required.
Auxiliary Activities: Data may be communicated to third parties performing essential or instrumental functions for service operations or technical/logistical support. These providers only access necessary personal data, are prohibited from using it for other purposes, and must process it in accordance with current regulations.
Consultations and Professional Assignments: In case of voluntary data submission for professional consultations or assignments, data will be used solely for evaluation and fulfillment of the request. A specific privacy notice will be provided.

This data is used for statistical and analytical purposes in aggregated form. The IP address is used for security purposes only and is not cross-referenced with other data.
Voluntarily Provided Data: The site may collect other data through voluntary use of services such as comments, contact forms, or consultation requests. This data will only be used to provide the requested service:
name;
email address;
any additional data voluntarily submitted.
Data Processing Location
Data is processed at the data controller’s premises and at the web hosting provider’s datacenter. The web hosting provider acts as a data processor on behalf of the controller and is located within the European Economic Area, in compliance with EU regulations.
Data Retention Period
Data collected during site operation is retained for the time necessary to perform the specified activities. Upon expiration, data is deleted or anonymized unless further retention is required for legal reasons.
IP addresses used for site security are stored for 30 days.
Analytics data is stored only in aggregated form.
Data for consultations or professional assignments is stored for the duration of the assignment and for related legal purposes.
